Test results came in today from my blood work. They are working fast and I am very appreciative. They were looking for specific signs that might scream 'cancer'. The test was silent. And for that I am sooooo grateful. Nothing in the test gave them alarm for cancer. The nurse was quick to point out it didn't mean I am cancer free or out of the woods. More like instead of a high percentage it is cancer, the odds against me are slowly lowering Great news!!!!!!
Now the next step will be the MRCP tomorrow. This should be a pain free test with the results coming in on Thursday.
Everything else concerning my pancreas will depend on this test. It will show exactly where the tumor/mass is and what parts of my pancreas is affected.
One day at a time. My mind would rather focus on the problem that started this ball rolling; my large ovarian tumor. But that situation will be dealt with on Thursday. As for today... I got great news!
