i am struggling with the "f" word. i've heard people use it my whole life. what meaning does it really have. it can be used in any given situation. something bad happens and out it comes. "f".

i've heard it used behind the backs of those who needed it said to their face. "f".

i've heard it shouted from across a room and also whispered gently in an ear. "f".

i've heard it said casually as if it were the letter "a".

i've heard it said with violence, all parties involved in pain. "f" them. "f" me.

i'm not sure i understand the meaning anymore of this word. it has been slammed, overused with no intent of being backed up with actions.

i do not see this word in real life anymore. it means nothing to most and even less to me.
