its time for composting. what an art form this is. to take complex material and turn it into something simple. i am composting my life as well.
looking for worms is time consuming. we will purchase in bulk no doubt. vermiculture is the topic at hand.
we have decided on cement block for the raised beds. i prefer wood but this isn't about my preference. the block is cheaper and will last season after season.
the random picket fence will take some planning. not a fan of purchasing the materials. we will forage.
our meeting day for others who want to move toward self-sufficiency or semi-self-sufficiency will be on thursdays beginning in october. times to be announced. all are welcome. we aren't experts and really don't know what we are doing but collectively we can share ideas and encouragement.
we should all have a common goal to love our neighbors.
i am learning about lacto-fermentation. i once thought this was gross but now i am quite intrigued.
i am drowning in garden porn. i caught myself calling a blueberry plant by its scientific name.
i am determined to bake my own bread. pita and naan are first on the list.
enough for now. see, i have been making lists to the point i listed my blog as well.
peace
